Support Worker.
Imakulata has been selected as this months winner. Imakulata is here in this country at university completing a Masters in Management and Finance. She registered with us as a Support Worker in November 2008.
Imakulata has always wanted to work in the social care industry and in her home country worked as a volunteer training local people how to look after HIV & Aids victims in their community. In recent weeks Imakulata has come in to her own and now works regularly with one of our clients as a project worker as well as completing regular support worker assignments with a variety of clients.
She is extremely well thought of, popular and a very gracious, caring, quiet and unassuming young lady.
Temp of the Month April 2009
Support & Care Worker.
For the month of April our temp of the month is Nelson. Nelson has only been registered with us since August 08 and had never worked in our industry before. Despite his lack of experience Nelson is now one of our most sought after, reliable, hard working temps that we have in the Southampton area.
In particular Nelson has recently been booked for a brand new client and due to his work and professionalism they have increased the booking to long term status and have also given Porter Moore further work.

Temp of the Month March 2009
Support Worker.
Milly has been registered with us for many years and during that time has proven to be one of our best temporary workers. She is very experienced and well thought of by all our clients.
Milly is registered with us for support work, care with the elderley and scheme management. She has also recently taken a control centre position for warden assisted housing. Milly is a great ambassador for Porter Moore and this award is well deserved.
Temp of the Month February 2009
Care Assistant.
This month we have awarded one of our Care Assistant''s, Peter,the Temp of the Month award for February 2009.
Peter has been registered with us since July 2008 and has been given this award for his hard work, regular acceptance of shifts, high standards and his popularity with the clients and service users alike.
Being a Care Assistant can be very demanding with patience required, but it is also very rewarding and Peter has just the right qualities for the role.

Temp of the Month January 2009
Scheme Manager.
January 2009''s Temp of the Month is Debbie. Debbie is a Scheme Manager and has been booked at the same assignment in Essex for two years. During this time, not only has Debbie been a successful addition to the client''''''''s team but she has been instrumental in Porter Moore placing three other Scheme Managers with the same client.
Debbie has recently finished a self funded 9 month training course and has earned herself a National Certificate of Professional Practice in Sheltered and Supported Housing. A reward well deserved, thanks Debbie and keep it up!
Temp of the Year 2008
Support Worker.
We have selected Paulo as our "Temp Of The Year" for many reasons. Paulo has been registered with us since 2003 and during that time he has consistently worked shift after shift, very rarely turning down a shift and sometimes using public transport to reach the most awkward locations.
Paulo is polite, professional, hard working, excellent with our client group and a great ambassador for Porter Moore.
Many clients have made a point of letting us know just how good a support worker Paulo is. We feel that Paulo should be recognized for his continuous and long term relationship with Porter Moore and we would like to thank you Paulo for all your efforts and hope that you stay with us for another 5 years at least!

Temp of the Month December 2008
Support Worker.
Mahmood is a support worker and has been with us for a year. Mahmood had not worked in the care industry before joining us and has been a complete success story. He has consistently worked throughout the year, has been predominantly direct booked by our clients and we have received excellent feed back from every client that has booked him.
Mahmood has no transport but has never allowed this to hinder him from getting to work and despite his first language not being english, he has nearly completed his NVQ 2 in care through Porter Moore and has the possibility of starting NVQ 3. Mahmood is a fine example of someone embracing and succeeding in a new career.

Temp of the Month November 2008
Support Worker.
This month we have selected Candy as our temp of the month for November 2008. Candy is a support worker and whilst she is just coming up to the end of her first year with us, it seems longer with all the shifts she has managed to fit in! Wherever we book Candy, she is extremely well liked and re booked on a continuous basis, prompting excellent feedback on our temp evaluation forms.
One client site has taken to Candy so well, they have offered her a full time position which she has excepted but we are pleased that Candy will still remain registered with us as well. Well done and thanks Candy.
Temp of the Month October 2008
Scheme Manager.
Mary is a scheme manager and has been chosen as October''s "Temp of the Month". Mary has been registered since 2003 and during those years she has never let Porter Moore down. She has taken assignment after assignment and with every position the feedback is excellent.
On many occasions client''s re book with us due to the professionalism Mary has displayed during her assignment. So this is our way of saying "thank you Mary" and long may it continue!

Support Worker.
Congratulations to Emmanuel for being selected as this month''s outstanding worker. Emmanuel has not been with us for a great length of time but he has certainly made a name for himself despite that! Emmanuel lives in Southampton but manages to accept shifts miles from the city and by whatever means, arrives at site on time.
He has carried out a high number of shifts and often excepts work at extremely short notice. Over and above this, we have received great feedback from all the clients he works with and considering that he has not worked in our industry before, he has settled in very well. Thanks Emmanuel !
Temp of the Month August 2008
Support Worker.
Mark is one of our Support Workers and has been registered with us for several years. Mark is well liked and is extremely popular with all the sites he attends. Mark already has a full time position in the industry but is always ready and willing to fit a shift in with us if he can.
We think Mark deserves "Temp of the Month" for August 2008 for his length of service, excellent feedback from clients and his willingness to help wherever he can. He has a great personality and quite regularly has us in stitches in the office. Mark always goes the extra mile and no task is too big or small for him.
Well done Mark, thoroughly deserved.

Scheme Manager.
Sue is a Scheme Manager and has been chosen as July''s Temp of the Month. Sue lives in Portsmouth and is on a long term assignment with us in the same area. Along with this Sue regularly travels down to Highcliffe at the weekend, saturday and Sunday and works on another Porter Moore scheme managed assignment.
Yes, we could offer the assignment to a closer temp but the client and Sue won''t hear of it!! The Client sings Sue''s praises and recognizes the distance she travels and the commitments she has in some cases cancelled to do so. Thanks Sue!
Temp of the Month June 2008
Scheme Manager.
Our congratulations this month to Mike for being selected as the June 2008 "Temp of the Month". Mike is registered with us as as Scheme Manager and has been with us for approximately a year. During that time
Mike has accepted several mid term assignments from us, sometimes at very short notice and others have been situated over and above the distance that we would reasonably expect a worker to travel. Each client has given us excellent feedback about Mike and he is often asked back for secondary assignments.

Ann is one of our long term commercial temporary workers. She has proven to be highly adaptable, flexible, hard working and very reliable.
On many occasions she has altered her location of work at a moments notice and has always been well liked and respected by the clients she has been booked by. Thank you Ann!

Support Worker.
When Hashim registered with us he had never worked in the care industry before. He has progressed very quickly to an excellent support worker in great demand with the clients.
He works hard and always looks to further his understanding by attending all company training sessions and learning from his colleagues wherever possible. Well done Hashim!
Temp of the Year 2007
Last year our "Temp of the Year" was a support worker.
Sihle, better known to us all as Beauty, has been registered with Porter Moore for four years. We have awarded Beauty "Temp of the Year 2007" because she has consistently for four years worked hard week after week.
Beauty is so popular with the sites she works on we rarely have to offer her assignments! She is continually direct booked due to being the first choice for several large clients in Southampton. No shift is too far for Beauty and she is always willing to do what she can at short notice.
Beauty is extremely professional and represents Porter Moore well in every way and thoroughly deserves this award. Well done Beauty!!
