Home Carer.
Sarah was one of our very first Home Carers and she has proved to be extremely flexible and helpful. She has moved to working in the office but has helped us out at very short notice with home care shifts, weekends, evenings and mornings.

Home Carer.
Kate is one of our new home carers and has been with us since we started our Domiciliary Home Care business. Whilst only a short time, Kate has shown great initiative, she is reliable and hard working and is always prepared to go the extra mile.
We have received excellent feed back from our main client, the service users that she looks after and associated bodies. Well done Kate and thanks.

Support Worker.
Congratulations to Mahmoud for being selected as March''s "Temp of the Month". When Mahmoud registered with us he had not worked with vulnerable adults before but in the last three years thanks to his own efforts, experience and training he has become a professional support worker and one we are extremely proud to employ.
Our clients adore him and race to book him before any other home books him first! He is enthusiastic and always willing to consider any work, often helping with no or little notice. Well deserved Mahmoud!

Support Worker/Care Assistant.
Our February "Temp of the Month" is Italian. Italian is registered with us as a Support Worker and Care Assistant and has now been with us for two years. Italian is hard working and has a great personality and is well liked by all our clients. She has also just passed her NVQ 3 in social care, so well done Italian!

Care Assistant.
Congratulations to Dupe for winning the January "temp of the month" award. Whilst Dupe has not been with us for a great length of time, she has shown fantastic commitment, has worked extremely hard and has a great personality.
She daily travels from Portsmouth to Southampton by train and then catches bus''''s and taxi''''s to ensure that she arrives to her shift on time.
The particular client where Dupe spends the majority of her time have complimented her on her caring attitude and understanding of the client needs.

Cathy has been an excellent Support Worker, who has been temp of the month for us, recommeneded by one of our clients. Cathy is always willing to help, at the last minute and never lets us down.

Allan has been nominated as December''s "Temp of the Month". Allan is employed with us as a scheme manager and he also carries out support work shifts inbetween!
Allan, who has been with us just short of three years, has been selected due to excellent feedback received from the clients he has worked for along with his great reliability and positive attitude towards any work offered him.

For November 2009 the chosen "temp of the month" is Hannah. She has been recognised this month not only because she is hard working and reliable but because the client from the respite centre that she works at on behalf of Porter Moore made us aware at a recent meeting that whilst working with them, Hannah is "excellent, ideal for the service they supply and a credit to Porter Moore". Well deserved Hannah!

This month we have selected Cathy for the Temp of the Month.
Cathy is a support worker and has been with us for over two years. During that time she has mainly worked exclusively through Porter Moore for one client.
Among her many attributes are professionalism, hard work, reliabilty and flexibility. Over and above these attributes we were delighted to have received a nomination for Cathy to be given this award by one of our clients.
Client comments "Cathy is always friendly and liked by service users and staff. She is focused on insuring service users have fulfilled lifestyles and that all opportunities are afforded to them. She is service user orientated and she makes a difference to their lives every time she is on shift."

Domestic Assistant.
This month we have taken the unusual step of awarding our "temp of the month" certificate for September to Sarah for the second time this year. We feel that Sarah thoroughly deserves the award again. She has continued to be very reliable, managing the large domestic services workload that she has plus accepting new assignments, some at short notice. All the clients adore Sarah and the stability, help and continuity she brings to their home. A first Sarah, well done!!

Nigel has been given this month''s award due to his willingness to assist us with short notice assignments outside of his usual support work remit.
As well as being an excellent support worker he has taken on several domestic service clients, our new venture for the elderly in the New Forest area. We really appreciate your help Nigel, thanks.

Domicilliary Carer.
This month our winner of July''''s "Temp of the Month" is Sarah. She has risen to award status very quickly as Sarah has only been with us for a few months. Sarah is one of our domicilliary services team, the new department recently opened supplying a whole range of services to the elderley in our area.
Sarah has taken on several clients and is booked out on a regular basis every day. She is extremely well thought of by the clients she looks after and has been great at stepping in at short notice to cover sickness and new clients. Sarah has also registered for support work and despite not working in this area before she has adapted well. Thanks Sarah and long may YOU continue!!

We have given this month''s award to Trish. Her role with Porter Moore has been varied but predominantly she has been helping to co-ordinate our new domestic services and domiciliary care venture. Despite only recently joining us she has proven to be hard working, reliable, a fast learner and she has a great personallity that we and the clients alike appreciate. Well done Trish!

Support Worker.
Imakulata has been selected as this months winner. Imakulata is here in this country at university completing a Masters in Management and Finance. She registered with us as a Support Worker in November 2008.
Imakulata has always wanted to work in the social care industry and in her home country worked as a volunteer training local people how to look after HIV & Aids victims in their community. In recent weeks Imakulata has come in to her own and now works regularly with one of our clients as a project worker as well as completing regular support worker assignments with a variety of clients.
She is extremely well thought of, popular and a very gracious, caring, quiet and unassuming young lady.

Support & Care Worker.
For the month of April our temp of the month is Nelson. Nelson has only been registered with us since August 08 and had never worked in our industry before. Despite his lack of experience Nelson is now one of our most sought after, reliable, hard working temps that we have in the Southampton area.
In particular Nelson has recently been booked for a brand new client and due to his work and professionalism they have increased the booking to long term status and have also given Porter Moore further work.

Milly has been registered with us for many years and during that time has proven to be one of our best temporary workers. She is very experienced and well thought of by all our clients.
Milly is registered with us for support work, care with the elderley and scheme management. She has also recently taken a control centre position for warden assisted housing. Milly is a great ambassador for Porter Moore and this award is well deserved.

Care Assistant.
This month we have awarded one of our Care Assistant''s, Peter,the Temp of the Month award for February 2009.
Peter has been registered with us since July 2008 and has been given this award for his hard work, regular acceptance of shifts, high standards and his popularity with the clients and service users alike.
Being a Care Assistant can be very demanding with patience required, but it is also very rewarding and Peter has just the right qualities for the role.

We have selected Paulo as our "Temp Of The Year" for many reasons. Paulo has been registered with us since 2003 and during that time he has consistently worked shift after shift, very rarely turning down a shift and sometimes using public transport to reach the most awkward locations.
Paulo is polite, professional, hard working, excellent with our client group and a great ambassador for Porter Moore.
Many clients have made a point of letting us know just how good a support worker Paulo is. We feel that Paulo should be recognized for his continuous and long term relationship with Porter Moore and we would like to thank you Paulo for all your efforts and hope that you stay with us for another 5 years at least!

Temp of the Month January 2009
Scheme Manager.
January 2009''s Temp of the Month is Debbie. Debbie is a Scheme Manager and has been booked at the same assignment in Essex for two years. During this time, not only has Debbie been a successful addition to the client''''''''s team but she has been instrumental in Porter Moore placing three other Scheme Managers with the same client.
Debbie has recently finished a self funded 9 month training course and has earned herself a National Certificate of Professional Practice in Sheltered and Supported Housing. A reward well deserved, thanks Debbie and keep it up!
